Artist Profile

John Haggan worked as an industrial engineer until 1979 when, with the encouragement of his friends, he decided to become a professional artist. His work has now been exhibited in galleries all over Northern Ireland and he has received commissions from as far afield as New Zealand, U.S.A., Canada, and South Africa. His landscapes capture the peace and tranquility of the rivers, streams, and valleys of Ulster.

John's Irish Musicians have always remained popular; he captures the movement and energy of these talented individuals. His work has been the subject of several television programmes.
